Every website we design is absolutely bespoke – we don’t just knock up so-called ‘original’ designs from templates. If you already have images you would like us to use – a logo, for example – let us know. If you’re starting from scratch, we can help supply/or create images for you. If you are selling a product or products, it’s very important that you let us have suitable images early in the design stages.
If you wish to supply copy (sales and information text) for us to incorporate into your site, please feel free to do so. However, if you’re stuck for ideas or you feel your message could do with sharpening up, we can help. The way you present your website’s message makes all the difference to your customers' perceptions!
Once we’ve got a detailed idea of what you need, we’ll create a draft design. We’ll show this to you, offering explanations of the creative decisions we’ve made in terms of their impact on your target market. Edits and changes are made as required, and once the draft is finalised it is coded into HTML and CSS and placed online – either under your domain name or in a private area of our site - for your comments. Once you’re happy, the site design is finalised with other pages as required.
The length of time taken for any one project varies depending on its size. A typical website build takes about a month from commission to final completion. Smaller websites may take as little as a week, while large projects may take significantly longer. We understand the importance of timing to your business plans, so when you approach us with a brief we will do our best to give you an accurate estimate of the amount of time involved.
We’re always around if changes need to be made or new content added. If your site needs to be updated regularly, we can also create an easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to make changes without any knowledge of the technical side of things.
